This video was flagged as concept art, but we built something similar with Aura (our formerly stealth mode app). The Air Force uses it for mission briefs and debriefs. NASA uses it for space weather monitoring. Space Force will use it (hopefully soon) for space domain awareness. We plan to release a commercial version for in-flight entertainment (IFE) and model review at engineering firms. Science Fiction 🤝 Science Fact.

Updates and Wins

• There is a dedicated US Navy program to bring tech developed under SBIR from one branch to another! There are some cool ways our XR apps Katana and Aura could benefit maintainers at shipyards or pilots within the Navy, and they're available under the SBIR program. Reach out to us to get the ball rolling.

• The ability to create augmented reality content and place it directly in your real-world spaces is arriving soon. You can still sign up for early access to get this capability with Katana here.

• We experimented with our company calendar and took a summer break. As a small company, we have the flexibility to try out different leave schedules to see what works best for our style of work. BLUF: Nothing crashed and burned, the sky didn’t fall, and everyone returned bright-eyed and motivated.

Industry News

• Microsoft is making more of their apps available on Realwear. This time they added Power apps which if you’ve never heard of them, they are “a suite of apps, services, and connectors…to build custom apps for your business needs”. This is good news for Realwear customers with unique use cases because now they can build their apps without throwing cash at a dev shop.

• The VR/AR Association (VRARA) Enterprise Summit is happening on July 24th. This year’s summit covers “Best in XR, Digital Twin, and AI”, plus it’s virtual and free. Register here to join on Linkedin.
